4×4=12 (Four Times Four Equals Twelve) is the fifth album by Canadian electronic artist deadmau5. It was released worldwide (except US) on December 6, 2010 through Virgin Records. The album was released in the United States on December 7, 2010 through Ultra Records. The song "Some Chords" was featured on an episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, where Deadmau5 played himself in the episode. The name comes from a Ustream session that Zimmerman broadcast to his fans. He can be quoted as saying something along the lines of "4 drums there, 4 more over there,and 4 more on the other end. 4×4=12".[2] The song "Maths" (played live on Much Music, January 4, 2011) was supposed to be included on the album, but was not completed in time
